Sending a document out of the country? Most receiving countries won't take it without an apostille attached first.
An apostille is a certificate that confirms our signature and seal as a Georgia notary are real, so a foreign government will actually accept your document. It's usually required for powers of attorney, adoption and custody paperwork, school transcripts and diplomas, and business documents headed overseas.
Heads up: an apostille only works for countries in the Hague Apostille Convention. Sending a document somewhere outside it calls for a different process, called a Great Seal authentication, through a different Georgia office. Tell us the destination country when you book and we'll make sure you're getting the right one before you pay for anything.
Cost: $130 runner fee, plus Georgia's $3-per-document apostille filing fee. That state fee is one of the lowest in the country.
Georgia law caps what a notary may charge for the notarial act itself, and requires us to post our fees. Travel is billed separately and quoted before you book. No surprises at the door.
| Each signature notarized, oath, or jurat | $2.00 |
"Each signature" means each notarial act, not each document or page. One person signing one document once is 1 notarization. Two people signing the same document is 2. One person signing two different documents is also 2. Multiple pages covered by a single signature and certificate still count as 1.

A $20 deposit is charged to your card at booking and applied toward your total. It's refunded in full if you cancel at least 24 hours ahead of your appointment; otherwise it's forfeited. The remaining balance can be paid by cash, Zelle, Cash App, or card at the appointment. If the signing can't be completed when we arrive (an expired or invalid ID, a missing signer, or blank spaces left in the document), the travel fee still applies, since the appointment time was reserved and the visit was completed.
Having these ready in advance helps your appointment go smoothly.

The ones people ask most, answered before you have to.
Yes. Homes, hospitals, offices, dealership lots, anywhere across metro Atlanta. We're available 24/7, since notary needs often come up after the bank's closed.
Yes. Georgia law requires every signer to physically appear in front of the notary. We can't notarize over video, and we can't notarize for someone who isn't there.
No, leave it unsigned. We have to watch you sign for it to be valid, so sign in front of us, not before.
One notarial act, meaning one signature notarized. Not one document, not one page. If two people sign the same document, that's 2. If one person signs two different documents, that's also 2. But a document with several pages covered by a single signature and certificate still counts as 1.
An unexpired government photo ID for every person signing. Driver's license, passport, state ID, and military ID are acceptable.
Yes. If your document needs one and you don't have someone to bring, we can provide a witness for a $25 fee. Just let us know when you book.
Most appointments are booked and completed same day. Need it within 3 hours? That's a same-day rush, for a $25 add-on to the travel fee.

Yes. Hospitals, nursing homes, hospice, and rehab facilities are some of our most common calls. That visit is a flat $130, all-inclusive, instead of the usual travel-plus-signature breakdown. The only thing that can still add to it is a same-day rush fee.
